You can now purchase any of the following items to support CCMedia’s Cobra Beats Club. Merchandise includes sweatshirts, hoodies, club t-shirts, club long sleeve t-shirts, draw-string bags and club caps.

The sweatshirts, hoodies, and shirts are included in your choice of either maroon or black. A special Cobra Sweet Beats Edition for long sleeve t’s in yellow (Cobra Gold) is also available. This is of Cobra Beats first design inspired by Sweet Beats Queen, an original Cobra Beats Club member.

Sizes include youth to adult sizes.

A discount code for members of the Cobra Beats Club is available and will be texted to families and those that request it.

Purchases that are made without the discount code will allow the Cobra Creative Media Club to receive a donation from purchases. Passing the link to others to support and purchase merchandise would help the Cobra Creative Media Club raise funds for club activities!

For orders made by students, faculty, or staff please select Free Delivery to Canyon Hills Middle School (CHMS). This will save you money and allow you to receive your order at school. If your purchase is not for a student or staff member at CHMS and you can’t pick up the order from our campus, you can select a delivery option to your family’s address.

My Cobra Tech Poem

After school let out last year I got the chance to reflect on how I felt about what I was learning from my colleagues about Cobra Tech Academy’s New Tech program. The poem below is what I wrote at the time going into my first year as a New Tech teacher.  Here’s to everything I’ve experienced since then. Shout out to all our Cobras at Canyon Hills! This one’s for you!

What will your child be?
What kind of plan have WE
created for them to succeed?
In New Tech young Cobras
will be introduced to a new way
of LEARNING…EARNING their way
as a life long student TURNING
the keys of understanding
how to work TOGETHER
empathetic to be BETTER
people…
and while technology
continues to shape our
world it is your child’s creativity
and innovation that will
make it MOVE…
this program is a chance to PROVE
that they can realize their dreams

Cobra Chess Club

Cobra Chess Club is a club for students interested in learning and playing Chess at Canyon Hills Middle School. Our members are referred to as King Cobras and Queen Cobras. The Cobra Chess Club is open Tuesdays and Thursdays immediately after school and lasts until 5PM. All grade levels (6th, 7th & 8th) are welcomed to join. The Cobra Chess Club was founded in the Spring semester of 2017. The Chess Teacher and Sponsor at Canyon Hills Middle School is Mr. Rhyanes aka Mr. Lee.

Our goals are to successfully and properly learn how to play chess. Members are taught to understand the challenging aspects of Chess to improve knowledge and critical/creative thinking. In addition, our club brings students, faculty, and families together around the lessons and benefits of Chess.
